How often should I receive a bill?
Dalsia Hellas recommends monthly readings and monthly bills for our customers. This model lets them have full control over their consumption, since the billing period is relatively short — so users have the opportunity to anticipate excess consumption early, before it is too late. This is a major advantage not only for monitoring consumed energy, which is closely tied to heating costs, but it also significantly improves users’ cash flow and, in general, the whole set of financial transactions between consumers, utilities (gas/district-heating companies) or diesel suppliers. A shorter consumption period leads proportionally to smaller consumption and correspondingly smaller bills, so the entire financial-management cycle is easier — which is not the case with a model of annual or semi-annual readings and bills. Dividing the whole heating period into short periods proportionally reduces each customer’s heat-cost obligations and is the only way to balance the smooth (operational and financial) running of the building.
What is remote reading?
Remote reading allows data to be collected from water meters, heat meters, electricity or gas meters, or other devices, without the need to enter the space where those devices are installed.
To save time for its customers, Dalsia developed the radio-communication system for the remote reading of devices.
The solution is wireless and simple, at a very attractive price.
How does Dalsia’s radio-communication system work?
The system detects Dalsia’s devices remotely, as the devices carry an integrated wireless communication module. Company staff record the device readings with suitable equipment, without the need to enter the space where the meters are installed.
In agreement with the customers/managers, the frequency of reading and issuing bills can be monthly, annual, or at any frequency that may be required.
Winter has started, but the radiators are not heating well. What can I do?
The most common cause of this problem is the presence of air in the circuit. You should bleed the radiators regularly to resolve the issue.
To prevent such a situation, leave the valves open at the maximum position before the start of the winter season.
The radiator heats up when the thermostatic valve is closed. What can I do?
A possible cause is the presence of tiny solid particles in the circuit that prevent the valve from operating normally and from closing fully.
