History

Dalsia Hellas S.A. was founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of the Danish company Brunata A/S, with the purpose of providing metering devices and heat, cooling and water cost-allocation services.

Dalsia Hellas S.A. has installed tens of thousands of metering devices supported by wireless communication modules, and provides wireless reading and cost-allocation services in more than 1,000 buildings across Greece, with heating sources including oil, natural gas and district heating. The buildings are located in various Greek cities such as Athens, Thessaloniki, Ptolemaida, Kozani, Amyntaio, Florina, Veria, Kavala, Ioannina and Larissa.

The frequency of the wireless reading and billing service is fully adapted to the operating conditions of each building, in full alignment with the operating model of the thermal-energy provider — for buildings where the heat source is natural gas or district heating — or with the operating model of each building, where the thermal energy is supplied from oil.

Subsequently, Dalsia Hellas S.A., as a subsidiary of Dalsia LTD, began promoting and selling Dalsia heat substations and their spare parts, as well as the SCADA SiDiO system for remote monitoring and remote control of metering and control installations.

Long experience

Brunata’s long experience — more than 100 years — in the field of metering and allocation began back in 1917 with the invention of the first metering device by a Danish engineer. Since then, millions of meters of various types have been manufactured, installed and put into operation, supported by the corresponding wireless reading and allocation services, all across Europe.

Savings for consumers and the environment

The solutions proposed by Dalsia Hellas S.A., both in consumption metering and in district heating or cooling, create the conditions for achieving savings in the consumption of thermal or cooling energy and water. As a result, the savings achieved by consumers are reflected directly in their total bill.
