HYDROCAL-M4 — a turbine-type apartment heat meter with remote reading.

The HYDROCAL-M4 is a compact apartment heat meter by B METERS (Italy) that measures energy for heating and/or cooling in centrally supplied systems. Inductive sensing of the turbine eliminates the influence of external magnets, while the wM-Bus or LoRaWAN variants enable reliable remote reading in fixed networks and “walk-by”. When wired integration into reading systems is required, the IR-MB-Pulse module is added, providing an M-Bus output and pulse inputs.

For apartments, qp 0.6 / 1.5 / 2.5 m³/h are most commonly used, depending on the design flow rates and pressure drop. The choice of communication (wM-Bus, LoRaWAN or M-Bus) depends on the available infrastructure and reading frequency.
